Applications
'Diadème 2ème Génération' (D2G) Programme
French Land Forces have selected SESAR 3000 to support their electronic and electro-optic equipment. Current applications include Leclerc main battle tank, Tiger helicopter, armoured observer combat carrier VABOBS, thermal sight MIRABEL and thermal binoculars/video camera SOPHIE, in mobile shelters or in fixed workshops.

'Mermoz' Programme
Dedicated to Rafale aircraft equipment testing, SESAR 3000 is installed at the Equipment Manufacturers’ premises for the control of the equipment at the end of the production line, and in the Navy and the French Air Force: in mobile shelters, on the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier and in fixed workshops.

In France, SESAR 3000 becomes 'SESAR 3000 A'
EADS TEST & SERVICES is upgrading their military tester in service with the French army to respond to the armed forces’ new budgetary and operational requirements.
With optimised configuration, and integration of the latest technologies and Open Software Architecture, the new 'SESAR 3000 A' will be interoperable with other OSA testers to be developed for the test of new European weapon programmes.
Because it is fully compatible with the SESAR 3000 already in service, the upgraded tester can re-use test programmes that have already been developed, like those for Tiger helicopter or the Rafale for example.
Its Open Software Architecture allows developments in ATLAS, C++, LabWindows/CVI and other programming languages, which enables SESAR 3000 to better respond to production and maintenance requirements.
Optimised and Advanced Configurations
SESAR 3000 modular architecture allows the development of configurations adapted to supporting a given pool of equipment with upgrading capabilities in order to support new programmes.
Two versions (electronics and electro-optics) and two configurations of SESAR 3000 have been designed: mobile (in shelter) for projection to the operational theatre and indoor for workshop use (development and maintenance of test programmes).
