Applications
D.A.T.E. can be used to test a wide range of small and medium sized avionics equipment, both civil (Airbus, Boeing, Regional Aviation) and military (fighters, helicopters, etc.) and also for the Industry (car industry, transport).

Equipment-Tailored Hardware Design
D.A.T.E.’s compactness and modularity offer maximum flexibility that makes it ideal for focused production test requirements. D.A.T.E.’s open software architecture is coupled with a basic and easily extendable hardware configuration using off-the-shelf resources.
D.A.T.E.’s Open System Software (OSS)
D.A.T.E.’s open software architecture (Open System Software OSS) has been designed by EADS TEST & SERVICES to enable test programmes already developed to be re-used, while Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools can also be run on it.
Moreover, its additional software layer, Test Resource Manager TRM, makes test programmes fully independent of physical resources, which precludes the need to modify programmes when replacing resources that have become obsolete.
A Comprehensive Service
As for every test system developed by EADS TEST & SERVICES, the company proposes a set of comprehensive engineering and support services around D.A.T.E. including on-site installation, on-request technical assistance, software development, training, on-line services via the Customer Support's website, etc.
