The eXpress software is a graphical functional modelling interactive tool allowing design, development, evaluation and mastering of diagnostics through all hierarchical levels of a system, equipment or board (card).

eXpress is the industrial reference among all diagnostics tools. Its particular approach (functional modelling of dependencies) allows the convergence of design, testability and diagnostics for all technologies that a system can include (hydraulics, mechanics, electronics, electro-optics, electro-mechanics).

eXpress allows the following operations:

evaluation and optimisation of integrated tests (BIT),
optimisation and development of test strategies (scenario, feedback),
optimisation of GOT and FLT (Good Operation Tests and Fault Location Tests),
ability to generate test trees,
time and development cost savings on testability and diagnostics.

model functionalities and/or default modes,
select functions and/or default modes covered by each test.

eXpress automatically transforms these data as a model of dependencies from which it provides:

coverage rate (rate of detection, localisation, replacement),
false removal rate,
ambiguity groups,
optimal organization of tests,
improvement suggestions,
completion controls,
cost criteria (spares, repairs), etc.

eXpress is supported by Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems.

Safety Analysis: SIMFIA (EADS APSYS)

SIMFIA is a modelling tool that can analyse and simulate global operation of equipment, systems or process. It allows automation of functional safety studies and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS).

SIMFIA integrates the following functions:

Default analysis with automated generation of FMECA tables,
Automated generation of default trees,
Building of reliability charts,
Allocation of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, Safety (RAMS).
